I return to this special place near where we live constantly, drawn by those awe-inspiring views of God's magnificent creation. As I painted those divine rays breaking through the clouds, I found myself meditating on what it means to await enlightenment - not just with knowledge, but with gratitude for all we have received and faith in all we will receive. There's something profound about that moment just before the light fully breaks through, when we stand in anticipation, our hearts open and ready to receive whatever wisdom, beauty, or blessing is about to pour down.
