Philippa Storey is a talented artist originally from Canada who has found her creative home in Australia. Starting as a singer/songwriter, she transitioned to visual arts in 2019, finding a passion for travel sketching and painting with watercolours, acrylics, and oils. Despite having no formal art training until 2024, Philippa has honed her skills through short courses and workshops with esteemed artists such as Jessica Ashton, Fiona Lowry, and Petra Pinn. 

In 2024, she started taking art classes at the North Shore School of Art with Mike Lamble and her artwork blossomed – selling 6 artworks in 3 months and being a finalist in 2024 in the Doyles, the Australian Artists Collective, Hunters Hill Art Prize, Northern Beaches Art Prize, Aspire Gallery Art Prize, and in 2025 in the Art to Art Unearthed Art Prize, the Mosman Rowers Art Prize, and the inaugural Lifeline Art Exhibition.  Her first exhibition stand was at The Other Art Fair May 8 – 11 at the White Bay Cruise Terminal.

Philippa`s artistic style is characterized by her love for seascapes – and more currently magnificent skyscapes - capturing the beauty and tranquility of the ocean and sunrises in vibrant colours and fluid brushstrokes. Her works evoke a sense of peace and serenity, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the calming allure of the sea and the skies. 

Her art has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including shows at galleries, restaurants, and boutique venues. Noteworthy accomplishments include selling numerous artworks through Bluethumb, an online art marketplace, and exhibiting at renowned galleries like Northern Beaches Gallery, State of Mind Boutique, Art Needs A Heart to Be Art Gallery and DiversARTy Gallery. Philippa`s talent and dedication to her craft have garnered her a loyal following and critical acclaim within the Australian art scene.
