"Arising"

This was my final painting of 2025, created as I stood on the threshold between what was and what will be. "Arising" captures that hopeful moment of sunrise - the perfect metaphor for a New Year emerging from the darkness, full of promise and possibility. As I painted those gentle waves catching the golden light, I found myself reflecting on all that had unfolded in the year behind me and opening my heart to whatever 2026 would bring. The soft blues and warm golds speak to that peaceful anticipation we feel when we trust that each new day, each new year, brings fresh opportunities to grow, create, and discover. This painting is my prayer of gratitude for the journey completed and my welcome to all that is arising on the horizon.
